This family made my job easy! I swear, everyone was so full of smiles that I didn't have to pull out any of my usual tricks :) And just look at the eyes on those kiddos! I can't get enough of them!

What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice, and everything nice...and (at least in this case) a little green monster, too!

Location, Location, Location

Many thanks to this family for being patient with my location choices for their shoot! We scaled a hill, survived angry bees (though not without a couple of stings), climbed through the woods...and somehow they still managed to look relaxed and happy.

All Boy

There's no denying that this kid is 100% obsessed with trucks. He likes rocks, too, but only because they can be transported by trucks. Oh, and dirt - let's not forget dirt! Lucky for him, the smile on his face made all of the cleanup worthwhile :)

Giggles Galore

These girls weren't necessarily excited about having their pictures taken at first, but a little goofing around helped loosen everybody up. It's amazing what some tickles, tree climbing, and general rough housing can do!

Sun, Sand, and Silliness

Last week I headed to the beach for a session with this big, beautiful extended family. They were on vacation and wanted some pics to commemorate everyone being together! When I saw these little girls in their beautiful dresses, I knew we were in for a wonderful (albeit crazy!) evening...

Splish Splash

These siblings were full of energy and smiles! After running around, climbing trees, riding bikes, and eating a yummy snack, we finished off the session with a splash around the puddles in the park. Not a bad way to start a weekend, I think! Of course, I think I needed a nap afterwards even more than the kids did :)

I came upstairs to find the boys reading in bed after naps today. Can life get any better?

Sleepy head

This adorable little girl was so cooperative - something I'm not used to with newborns! This type of shoot can take up to three hours, so I was very surprised when I was on my way back home in just an hour and a half. She was so patient and even tolerated mom and I posing her in several headbands/hats/other adorable accessories :) May she remain this easy going throughout her teenage years!
