Sleeping like a baby

This little cutie was so sleepy during our session that I only got to see one eye, for all of 3 seconds! The super soft blankets he was bundled in might have had something to do with that. He must have been having a great dream, though!

When life hands you lemons....

...go to Cape Cod! Our family was supposed to travel to Sweden last week for a family reunion. Unfortunately, we never made it there :( After lots of delays, sitting in a plane for 3.5 hours at the airport, canceled flights and a sick husband, we called off the trip. We were very disappointed, but decided it would be silly to waste all of that time and effort packing...so we headed to Cape Cod for a week instead. Not quite the same as a European adventure, but we had a great trip anyway.

Hudson was too hungry to wait for his meal, so he just ate the menu instead :)

This is summer!

After months of rain, this session was the epitome of a summer evening in New England - warm sun, blue skies, and lots of laughs. Of course, we had the added enjoyment of music, wild mustangs and some 4-wheeling :) Not a bad way to spend a few hours! Thanks to the whole family for being so much fun and inviting me to your beautiful home.

The sun came out!

Finally! I have been looking forward to photographing this little heartbreaker for over a month now, but we had to keep rescheduling due to the horrible weather! I hope you'll agree that it was well worth the wait :)

Who said Salem is spooky?

If you've never been to Salem, MA, these kids can tell you that it's worth the trip! Cobblestone streets, old town trolleys, rock fountains...it's like one big playground! We were very lucky to dodge the raindrops until we were almost done with our shoot yesterday. Once the rain moved in, we even got to check out a little bit of the Peabody Essex museum!
